This product must be diluted before use. Dilute with fresh distilled water, tap water or an acceptable bacteriological standard or alcohol (ethanol, industrial methylated spirit, or isopropanol. Use diluted (1 in 20) for antiseptic wound, cleansing for cuts, grazes, bites, and stings.
Use as directed in and around the home.
Apply to surfaces by wiping, mopping, mechanical scrubber or immersion

*Sterilise the diluted solution by autoclaving at 115°C for 30 minutes or 121°C for 15 minutes before use on wounds, burns or broken skin.
**endoscopes should not be placed in UCAN-CET solutions.
Syringes, needles, or instruments, which have been immersed in a UCAN-CET solution should be thoroughly rinsed in sterile water or saline before use.
Do not use UCAN-CET solutions to disinfect endoscopes or for prolonged immersion of rubber appliances.
How to store UCAN-CET Disinfectant Liquid
Keep container tightly closed.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is printed on the bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Avoid contact with eyes, prolonged contact with skin, inhalation of dust. Use with adequate ventilation.
Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area and do not store above 30°C.
Flammable. Do not expose the container or its contents to naked flames during use or, storage.
Do not contaminate food, feed, or water supplies.
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
What UCAN-CET contains and other information
The active substances are Chlorhexidine gluconate 1.5% w/v and Cetrimide 15% w/v.
The other ingredients are benzyl benzoate, liquid deodoriser, sunset yellow (E110), terpineol, isopropyl alcohol, d-gluconolactone, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
