Chloroxylenol 4.8% w/v

Terpineol 9.0% v/v

Absolute Alcohol 13.1% v/v

Microtol is an effective concentrated antiseptic solution that kills bacteria and provides protection against germs which can cause infection and illness. It can be used for antiseptic cleansing of minor wounds caused by cuts, bites, grazes, insect stings, and for personal hygiene.

Use	Direction
Antiseptic in obsterics and midwifery	Dilute 1 in 40 (2.5% i.e. 25 ml per liter water)
Cuts and wounds (including bites, scratches and insect stings)	Dilute 1 in 20 (5% i.e. 50ml in per liter water) cover with dry gauze or lint Do not use wet dressings
General disinfection wards and theatre, hand, face, masks, soiled linen etc.	Dilute 1 in 40 (2.5% i.e. 25ml per litre water)
Personal hydiene/douching	When medically advised: Dilute 1 in 100 (1% i.e. 10ml per liter water)
Nurseries	Dilute 1 in 20 (5% i.e. 50ml in per litre water)
Dandruff	Dilute 1 in 100 (1% i.e. 5ml in 500ml) in warm water. Pour over scalp, leave for 10 minutes before shampooing.
Epidemics	Dilute 1 in 40 (2.5% i.e. 25 ml per liter water) To treat linen, floors and for spraying rooms.
